First, welcome to my Newsletter/Blog.

My goal is to share ideas, observations and insights that will help you profit.

And it doesn’t really matter what business you’re in. Or whether you have your own business or work as part of another organization.

It will please me greatly when you take away your first useful idea from my writings on this Blog.

Of course, I also want (and need) your feedback!

Now, a little bit about me

Funny how life runs in circles sometime.

My very first job was as a copywriter at the New York Life Insurance Company headquarters in New York City.

Since then my career has taken a number of turns. All of which have greatly added to my experience and given me lots of exciting and interesting times.

Turns, turns, turns…

I won’t bore you with the nitty gritty details, but here’s a taste of how my career has taken me down different paths.

Technology has always been an important part in my life.

I started as computer programmer around 1982. Then I earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and later sold enterprise computer systems, software, services and other technology for over 22 years.

In the mid-1990′s together with a partner I started my own technology services company. We grew this company to over $82 Million in revenues.

Later I became part of a group that financed promising companies and then actually helped them to grow. My role was marketing, sales, and business development.

Plus one more thing … kind of a blast from the past … Copywriting.

Yep, I’d come full circle! Go figure.

And how about now?

Today I consult with clients on sales and marketing strategies (And write PLENTY of sales copy) for a wide range of businesses. I have worked with technology companies, hard goods manufacturers, service providers, and food companies.

In addition to direct response copy I also writes business plans and assist salespeople to develop proposal templates targeted at specific client niche markets.

Time for a little bragging

(Or demonstrating credibility, as we call it in copywriting and marketing)

I’m a two-time winner of Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500 Award for Fastest Growing Private Companies” and was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999.

In addition I’ve been interviewed/quoted in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CNN/fn, WOR-TV (New York), News12 and Inc. Magazine.

I earned a B.S. degree in Marketing from Long Island University and a Master Degree in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology.

Enough said … well, almost
